Received the rowing machine a week ago but we took our time putting it together. Was not difficult. Filled it up and started using it today. This exceeds my expectation. The water sound is hypnotic, the seat glides so smooth. 20 minutes later did not even feel like I was working out. It really felt like I was on the water enjoying myself. Beautiful craftsmanship, I love this machine.

Love seeing how many calories I expended and stats on my effort and improvements. It’s also a beautiful piece. It lives in our living room and we have no qualms about that. Folded up it takes up such a small space and the wood is beautiful allowing it to blend into the room. Most of the time we leave it down. It does not bother me aesthetically at all. We love the low impact workout, important for my husband’s knees which kept him away from many other forms of exercise. So happy we discovered rowing and in particular GOROWINGO because it’s beautiful and well made.

I love using my GorowinGo rowing machine and would use it every day if my schedule permitted. There are so many options for workouts that you never feel bored. Exercising with the rower almost has a meditative quality and is great for stress relief as well as physical conditioning. I am 100% satisfied I made this purchase

I am VERY pleased with my GoRowinGo. As I am rowing, it seems so effortless and the sound of the water soothes my soul. I am a very satisfied customer!

I'm someone who is not only overweight but has also lived with Multiple Sclerosis for about 30 years. One of the areas I struggle with is balance so other forms if exercise can be difficult to maintain. Not something I need to worry about with GoRowinGo. It has been a life saver and although I have a long way to go, I'm going further and faster every day. Excited to reach each milestone!

I am very much enjoying my rower from Gorowingo. For the price it is quite solid and well made. There are definitely some things that could be better, such as the rails the seat rides on could be metal instead of hard plastic and the digital readout could be a little better, but overall it is good. One other thing is that there were no instructions for the digital monitor, so it takes some playing around with to figure out all of its capabilities. I look forward to continuing to use my rower.

So far so good. Assembly was easy. I suggest using distilled water if that isn’t obvious to anyone as you don’t want any residual buildup in the tank. I use it daily on my lunch break. The only reservation(s) I have one that I cannot figure out how to change the display to American measure (meaning miles). If you’re fine with km you are okay. 2nd, I am not confident that the foam grips will last very long, they are stretching out as I use the rowing machine. I presume that they will tear at some point soon. I anticipate that when they do, I will use bike (cycling) bar tape to replace them. Not terribly comfortable anyway with bare hands. Overall, I feel the product is an excellent investment in my quest to continue my healthy lifestyle. Definitely better than the one I was using at the gym (that had to close, due to the pandemic). Pretty quiet overall. I can have a normal level conversation if needed when using it. Stores vertically very nicely. It is Bluetooth connected for those wondering, but not to anything like UA or the like. Some other generic app that I don’t even use anymore. I just do it for time overall. I know how much effort I’m putting into it. I don’t need to set records every day. Along that same vein, I don’t need a history of my use either. Running is different for me, I track that. This is just something I use in between as an enhancement to my fitness, especially if the weather is crappy.

I have used it for the past two days. After it arrived I unboxed and had it assembled in just under an hour and I didn't need a second pair of hands to do anything with that. While I was assembling it I charged the water pump that came with it. After the 3 hours to charge it I loaded water in. That was super easy to do. The pump filled the almost 4 Gallons of water into the drum. That would be my only complaint, Since I had to buy distilled water for it I had to guess about how much it would take to fill to the recommended amount. I tried a few pulls and it was so quiet. I was really happy I figured it would be only somewhat quiet. I was able to do a 30 minute set and my daughter was sleeping in the next room. My wife has also used it and loves it. I can not recommend this highly enough. I got it in 3 days not the 12 it was projected when I first purchased it. Fast shipping, Easy to build, and great quiet workout, buy it worth it.

Because of the stay at home orders during the 2020 pandemic which is still in effect as I'm writing this review, I have not been able go to the gym to do my group fitness classes or use the equipment. I've also been struggling to find ways to continue exercising to stay fit and healthy while at home. I'm not very athletic, nor a fitness enthusiast, so it's hard for me to find a workout or type of exercise that I will actually stick with and enjoy.
Enter Mr. Captain Rowing Machine! I've been happily using it regularly for the last few months since I purchased it. I find that I actually enjoy rowing now. It's also fun to see how long I can row and the number of strokes I can do. It keeps me engaged and wanting to do more strokes and row longer.
This brand of rowing machine was recommended to me by a friend who owns one. He told me that this is a high quality rower that closely simulates actual rowing because the resistance system uses water instead of magnetic like the typical rowers available on the market. I've tried the common magnetic resistance type rowers at the gym that I used to go to. I remember that it worked both my upper and lower body. I also felt like I got a great workout even after only 15 minutes! So, I thought getting a home rower would be a good investment. However, I don't have much room in my house so I needed a rower that can be stowed away or moved aside when it's not in use.
After I did some research on rowing machines, I decided to order the GoRowinGO Rowing Machine. Here are ther reasons I chose this brand:
- High quality materials and workmanship.
- Price is reasonable for the features, quality, materials, and functions compared to other rowers I found online ranging from under $300 to over $2000.
- Easy to assemble.
- Water resistance vs magnetic resistance - Water resistance really makes you feel like you are rowing in water! You add water to the sealed water tank which has a spinning fan-like wheel with fins that pushes the water when you row. The water tank has graduated lines so you can add the desired amount of water based on how much resistance you want.
- USB rechargeable water pump - this makes it really easy to fill and remove water from the tank as you desire.
- Ergonomic and comfortable seat.
- Extremely smooth tracks/rails for the seat to glide on.
- Adjustable foot rests and straps for different sizes.
- Ergonomic and comfortable handles - you get a good grip and it doesn't hurt your hands.
- Digital monitor that tracks your workout; monitor has Bluetooth if you want to connect to your phone through their fitness app. (I don't use the app so I can't review it)
- Aesthetics - I ordered the one that is made of natural solid red walnut wood, not veneer; it looks more like a piece of furniture instead of gym equipment.
- Portable and space efficient - stand it up on one end to roll it away (it has wheels) to store it against a wall or where ever you want.

So glad I decided on this rower! I shopped for all types, water, fan, and magnetic and after a week of comparing decided on this as the best value. ( I’ve only ever used a fan type rower in the gym.) I used the split payments of around $38, and justified that as what I’d pay to go to the gym, right!?
I used to teach Tabata-HIIT, and I paddle board regularly, but with covid-19 I’ve had to stop teaching classes and of course no gyms. :( the weather is finally starting to get too cool in CA for paddling and this is PERFECT for my small condo! Stores out of the way nicely and looks great, also comes with a cover if I needed to put it on my balcony for more room. VERY easy to lift into upright position as the weight is all in the bottom when filled, and pretty easy to roll around. (Tip tighten down the wheels, then back out on the nuts about a half turn till the wheels roll freely)
I’m a 53 year old single mom, and it took me about 30 min to assemble by myself. If you have assembled any furniture from target you can easily do this. Instructions are straightforward. I listened to other reviewers and plugged in the pump before I started assembly and it worked great. Probably would have taken less time if I had a bigger container to fill the water from, I used a large mixing bowl from my kitchen and I think I refilled it 4-5 times. Looking forward to getting off the 10 lbs I earned by lazing around too much and baking bread and cookies “for the kids”
If you row correctly you’ll feel it in your core, legs, arms, and back; great full body workout!
I’m average 5’5” and 125lbs, feels very sturdy and solid for me and also for my 5’10 185 lb son. He’s online learning, and it’s a perfect diversion to get off the video games.
I was afraid a smaller metal frame one wouldn’t feel as stable and enjoyable for him. It’s great!
Chris C.
I really like this rower! It looks great while I’m using it. It’s quiet, so I can watch or listen to anything without having to turn it up so loud and wake up the kids. When I put it away, it takes me about 10 seconds and only uses up a small, little corner. Very happy with this rower!
Cody M.
This came in quick, a week after I ordered, which was wonderful after I spent the last 1 weeks waiting for a different brand of water rower that never came.
Assembly was straightforward, the pictures in the manual could be a bit clearer, but I had no issues with it.
It looks great, no leaks so far, and the provided electric water pump is very useful. The water in my photo is stained with iodine from the purification tablets, and should clear up soon.
Migel S.
I took a chance on this machine since I’m new to rowing. But I’m glad I did. I received it within a few days of ordering. It came in 2 shipments. The first box contained the rails, the second everything else, down to the batteries for the monitor. Assembly was straightforward - the screws set came with a couple of extras, I put is together pretty easily on my own. The water pump worked great.
It stores up right and thanks to the wheels can be moved easily around the room although I think a handle may have made it more comfortable, especially when tilting it away from the wall. I’m afraid I won’t have a good grip one day and drop it or have it scratch the wall.
It operates quietly, with mostly just the swooshing sound of the water. I wish there was a more descriptive manual for the monitor, but had no issue with adjusting the feet plates.
Can’t wait to make it part of my daily routine. I was sweating after 5 minutes.

I have struggled to find a fitness routine that I can do at home that I like enough to stick with. I cant say I ever really enjoyed exercising before. I decided to try rowing. Seemed an efficient way to get in shape. I researched rowers and didn’t want to spend $2000 to discover that I didn’t like to row.
From the first time I used it, I was Read more about review stating Best Fitness Purchase Ever!in love. I have found training and scenery videos free on Utube that make the time fly.
This is the first time that I can’t wait to work out everyday. I’ve had my machine for 5 weeks and it stands up to 40 minute rowing workouts.
I recommended it to my sister and she loves it. Her “ gym rat” husband uses it too. Very high quality product.

I have been working out for the past 10 years, I am 40 YOA, and previously had only used the Concept rowers from local gyms. I can honestly say the GoRowinGo rower will not disappoint you. I use it for warming up and in combination with various HIIT work outs. The frame is strong and takes any beating you give it. The seat is comfortable and the genRead more about review stating Assault Rower vs Concept Rowereral feel is much stronger when compared to the concept rowers. The frame is a bit bigger than the concept rowers, but nothing drastically big that would cause issues for any room or garage. The system does not have a damper found on the concept rowers, in my opinion, this has caused me to push myself even more and I like that it does not have a damper.
Steven H.
Those must be the best built rower. The comfort and feel of the rower is perfect for me. I feels extremely durable. No complaints about the seat. It was perfectly packaged which made the delivery and installation process EASY.Perfectly done, GoRowinGO!

Great addition and longtime wish to own a rowing machine. I do wish there was an option for more/less resistance. The seat and hardware are great. Being 6’4 I also wish the display could be oriented at a different height or orientation. This machine will make you work! I’ve been shuffling workouts and after a few weeks I am looking, feeling, and pRead more about review stating Great additionerforming better overall. I’m thankful it’s comfortable and can handle my 6’4 , 225 lb frame pulling and moving on it for intense intervals and longer endurance equally.

consider myself a beginner with this. I had done the very old basic row machine back in the day - I will not discuss how many days to go back- but I was a goalkeeper for my club and high school team. From time to time they would send us to the gym and I was not allowed to use the normal treadmill for my cardio- since I used all my body parts and not just my legs I was sent to the rower. I always felt sort of 'meh' about it. We had been tired of sitting around like sloths during the pandemic. We had looked at the fancy- expensive bike options that all the cool kids were doing. We looked at cheaper options. We went round and round. Research eventually let us look at row machines. It seems we would get a more full body experience with a row machine.I feel GREAT afterwards - I had expected to feel worn out like I did with running, or treadmill type cardio- but I feel wonderful. Like I could go again in a little while, and actually want to! Also- their customer support is AMAZING! Quick to respond and I feel like I am part of a cool little community. Its nice!

I bought a used WaterRower years ago and let it gather dust for several years until the pandemic led me to look for online workouts I could complete with my home equipment. Happily, I found CITYROW and started using my rower several times a week for the first time since I bought it. After a year and a half as a CITYROW user, I finally decided to upgrade to their version of the WaterRower.
GoRowinGO vs Peloton / Freeletics: Pre-pandemic, my exercise consisted mostly of Peloton rides (at my office gym) and Freeletics (app-guided HIIT) workouts. I loved the Peloton for its engaging instructors and good cardio workouts. I endured Freeletics, because I felt like I was getting a great workout that helped me tone/build muscle. When I tried GoRowinGO GO-RW50, I finally found one exercise program that gave me everything I wanted - tough, instructor-led workouts with cardio and strength building. Their signature classes, which have you on and off the rower, combining rowing with exercises on the mat, are for me a perfect blend. They also have endurance classes, cardio and core (like signature with a core focus), stength classes, rowing HIIT classes, and even yoga. Like Peloton, classes are available live or on-demand, and the instructors are great at delivering challenging workouts that motivate you to push yourself. Unlike Peloton, it delivers a full body workout that an "intervals and arms" ride just can't match.
When I bought my first used WaterRower, I thought that dual-track models seemed more stable and that the wooden tracks were better looking than the metal single-track. After getting a chance to attend an in-person GoRowinGO class (with the incredible Shaun Patrick Tubbs on a trip to NYC), I realized that the GoRowinGO rowers had some distinct advantages. The footboard on a dual-track rower, goes between the two tracks, so the user's feet must be close together. With a single-track, though, the track goes between the users feet, allowing for a more natural hip-width distance. In addition, the GoRowinGO GO-RW50 comes with a monitor that provides real-time feedback, including split time. (Because the S4 monitor on the WaterRower Club calculates split time over a longer range, it takes ~30 seconds to provide an accurate split time and doesn't let the user observe more short-term variations in performance.) And, since the GoRowinGO GO-RW50 monitor has built-in bluetooth, I've just got one rechargeable battery that I can see the status of on my monitor, as opposed to the separate S4 bluetooth module, which periodically died mid-workout because it doesn't have a low-battery indicator. One downside of the single-track is that it significantly louder than the dual-track as the seat moves back and forth across the rail.
NOTE: When the assembly instructions tell you not to tighten the screws - listen! I left a little wiggle room in each screw, but when I got to one of the final footboard screws, it just wouldn't go. I had to go back and loosen everything (including some of the pre-assembled screws), and even then I had to turn a lot harder than I should have. Not sure if mine had a minor alignment issue, or if I did something wrong, but it's been working great once I got it all together.
I am so glad I found GoRowinGO GO-RW50 and their instructors who could finally motivate me to make use of my rower and ever happier that I've improved my GoRowinGO experience by purchasing a GoRowinGO machine.

Like most people in their 40's, my knees and stamina are significantly reduced from the aging process. I am 6'2" and a svelte 240 pounds; so clomping away on the treadmill makes a heck of a racket, makes my soul bleed and is rough on thee ol' bones as well.
So my purpose here was not to "compete online" or any of that nonsense, but rather to have a decent cardiovascular workout while I numb my consciousness with a show or movie. Rowing seems like the ticket, so I started researching: A neighbor has the Gold Standard of rowers, the Concept 2, which I was able to test and honestly it's a better value: Everything about the Concept 2 is better - it's mostly metal and is commercial quality, with a smooth pull, a wider range of resistance adjustment, it has some silly two-dimensional "games" to help motivate you, a better screen and it gives you the impression that someone will snatch it up at your estate sale in 20 years... wipe the dust off and get another decade or two out of it - which is why you see it in every gym (and my neighbor's basement). It's tough. It's also $200 less... However, it's also loud... loud enough to where in a confined space (like your workout room), I feel you'd have to blast the volume on your TV or replace the batteries on your hearing aid before working out.
Enter, the GoRowinGo. The GoRowinGo is trendy (they don't even need a space in the name, it's THAT edgy), yet it's still a good buy as it better fits what most of us are likely to use it for: working out at home, in a smaller room while watching a show. I can easily have a conversation with my children, watch Crockett chase someone down the streets of Miami in impeccably white Espadrilles at normal volume and still have the impression of "hey, Miami Vice was the best TV show ever, and this rower remarkably quiet!" My wife likes the wood construction and I will admit that it handles my 1/8th ton of mass effortlessly with no problem, unlike most of the furniture from Ikea (hint: don't shop at Ikea unless your a 60kg Swede). I just finished a workout and broke a sweat, but in a way that was comfortable and repeatable. The display is basic, however it turns on automatically and displays the basic info that most of us would want: your rowing rate, elapsed time, etc. No PacMan or Pong on it that I can see - which might have been a nice perk.
Most of us will be rowing for a duration of time, so although the display was the ugliest part of the machine, it remains perfectly reasonable and utilitarian, like the dashboard of a Volvo. The best part, is that I did not have to turn up the volume on the TV in a 12 foot room to hear comfortably over the machine. It really is remarkably quiet, with smooth efficiency and a pleasing appearance. It is easy enough to stand up out of the way as well, so in this context I'd say the WaterRower is a better "value" for most of us recreational users. I was able to assemble the machine in about 10 minutes, not counting a trip to the garage to get a second 5mm allen wrench.
If you feel the need to play a pixilated 1980's game of pong ("catch the fish") while trash-talking your Crossfit buddies on Snapchat before celebrating your new personal best with an ice-cold Michelob Ultra, then you probably have two active gym memberships, a single-digit bodyfat percentage and would be better off with the Concept 2. As for me, I like real beer, 80's crime dramas, full figured women - and the GoRowinGo . I rate it as a definite "buy."

This GO-RW50 is the perfect addition to my at-home gym. This machine has really propelled my workouts to a more intense level. I love incorporating both the ski and the row within resistance training. One of the best parts about this cardio piece in my home gym is it doesn't take up very much space. I can still get my car in the garage. Definitely one of my best purchases.
Isaac G.
We recently added this to our home gym and could not be happier with the product. It is amazing, it works very efficiently, was super easy to put together, is great for space saving and we love both the ski and the row options. We work out 6-7 days a week and use this daily in the routine and absolutely love it. Could not recommend enough!
Yvonne Bell B.
Got it yesterday. Very well packed. Very easy to assemble. Does not move when on it. Seems very well built. Seemed to be a great workout. Great buy.

My husband and I have been hooked, we're on it most days trying to outdo each other in total meters rowed! I forget it's exercise equipment sometimes. It's just fun to get on and challenge yourself to a race or complete the next push program workout. I truly look forward to getting on and am sad if I miss a day. The customer service was also great, our tablet didn't work at first and we had a new one here the next day. My husband and I are both fairly heavy and tall people and it fits us both comfortably.

I am a former college athlete and spent years coaching collegiately, so fitness has always been motivated by a desire to compete well at my sport. After stepping away from competitive sports I struggled to maintain a consistent exercise routine because it can be so boring and monotonous, and I HATE fitness classes. The GoRowinGO is the PERFECT solution to my problem. The machine itself is really soothing to use - the water swishing and the well-built machine with smooth movement create a great experience - and the interface is exactly what I need to stay motivated. No more getting pissed at virtual workout instructors, no more terrible treadmill intervals, or long boring workouts with me a watch. Seeing progress toward tangible goals, competing in races against other users, and using real-time performance data to hold myself accountable makes the GoRowinGO truly the best fitness experience I've had to date. Even when I'm tired, the workouts feel accessible and it's easy to convince myself to hop on for a few thousand meters. Once I get started, I can almost always convince myself to do a little more - it's that pleasant!
Harry R.
The water rower is fantastic. Compared to air rowers and other resistance rower, the water rower provides smoother catch and drive. The sound of water is soothing. Watching the splash in the water drum is meditative. These two details help to make a long row session more pleasant.the gaming inspired user interface is very motivational. There are lots of workouts available to challenge rowers of every level. And the data feedback help you to understand how you're performing each day.

We are lazy workout people. This machine is so much more fun! It’s like a game. Unlike other machines I have been on in gyms (this is my first home machine purchase other than weights) I am focused on my “game” and achieving the goal set for me vs the time I have left. 20min and I am sweating and the workout felt like it flew by. So happy we discovered rowing and in particular Ergatta because it’s beautiful and well made.

I debated a short while between a 4 and 5 star rating but only because I had some initial issues in getting the rowing machine set up. They were all resolved by their excellent customer service group. I am a numbers guy so much prefer to concentrate on all the stats then watching someone else row. I try not to row everyday (like to mix my exercise up a bit) but sometimes I cant help myself and end up rowing on my off-days because its so easy and enjoyable. When I am not using it, I store it in a hall closet - very easy to maneuver and takes up relatively little space considering its size. Great exercise to boot.
Loralee H.
My husband is not a fan of exercise, and we're both over 55 so I wanted to find a solution that would not involve stress on our knees, feet, and back, but would also be something we enjoyed and kept us using it. The GoRowinGO is awesome! The gaming interface really stimulated his sense of competition, and since it's a total-body workout that doesn't cause joint pain, it's a big win! He's getting cardio and strength and fun from his workouts! I love exercise, but I struggle with sore feet and a back injury with running & walking, and in the winter I can't ride my bike outside. Indoor stationary biking gets monotonous for me. I love the open row, the competitions, the sound of the swooshing water, and the total body workout. This was money well spent!

Excellent presentation, I find it very informative capturing all my interest with detailed description.. as t a two-time cancer survivor and close to 3 month coma to where I have to learn how to walk talk and eat again thanking God in Jesus Christ for making it through, I'm absolutely amazed at the design and creativeness that must have been well thought out to present this health innovating piece of exercise equipment that will extend people's lives!!!!

If you're still thinking about making the purchase... do it!! My husband and I have both been loving it and have been working out with it even more consistently than expected! The different types of training gives up plenty of opportunity to switch things up and do what works for us depending on how much time we have, etc. Very engaging and exactly what I need to keep me coming back each day. Also love how BEAUTIFUL it looks in out home! Truly the best rower money can buy.

I'm over a month in. This machine makes exercising entertaining and easy. Definitely to all the setup courses and then move on to a beginner's set. Go through the beginner's set before moving on. I am in intermediate now and just did a recalibration. After you've used it for a while the system recalibrates based on what you've accomplished and how well you are pulling. Really cool. This means you don't have to worry about changing weights or how many reps your doing, because GoRowinGO does it for you automatically without you having to do more than row.
The machine is solid and looks great. I love how easy it is to connect a Bluetooth speaker and heart monitor. The music library already included is pretty great. I use Rock and get Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Paramore and many more. Other cool thing is I've discovered a few new bands thanks to the programming.
It's not cheap but as they say you get what you pay for!

I've never been big into cardio, but GoRowinGo has really helped with its programs. Having owned the machine for 2 months now, I've completed the first two series in the Starter Program and I'm feeling better than I have in a decade. Also, living in a one bedroom loft, having the ability to fold up and stand makes this machine not only great for my body, but also great for our loft aesthetic.

I had a rower for a year and liked it but didn't love it. I purchased the GoRowinGO in MAY 2022 and what a game and life changer! I have always hated working out and now I get sad when I don't have time. The different workouts you can choose fit any schedule you might have, whether you can work out for 15 minutes or you have time for a full workout. The "game" nature of the workouts really motivates me to do my best and not slack while pushing me to get better and quicker. I've improved my form with this as it keeps me in check and allows me to pace myself better. I'm so glad I bought this and look forward to getting healthier as I continue with my rower!
Anna M.
I bought the GoRowinGO to supplement the cycling and running load that I do, and it fits the bill perfectly.Beautifully designed machine, with an excellent UI that makes the training both interactive and "fun". I knew after one session that I was going to love it, and 30 days and a lot of sweat later, still do!

I wanted something to motivate me to get some more cardio at home. This product is exactly what I was looking for. The rower folds up nicely and easily movable to store. It's quiet and give me the cardio home workout I needed!

I purchased my GoRowinGo GO-RW50 product on GoRowinGo and my expectations were appropriately lowered considering the very modest "new" purchase price (I paid less than half of the retail price). I should also note that I've been using the Concept 2 rower in gyms and health clubs for many years now, so I had a pretty good idea of the kind of workout experience I wanted to find in a rower. I'm happy to report that the GoRowinGo GO-RW50 exceeded my expectations without reservation. The machine's 8 levels provide plenty of resistance and the seat/rail/handle construction is as sturdy and smooth as Concept 2 (smoother, actually). The lovely unexpected benefit of this machine is that it is so quiet. I am an early morning paddler and this machine allows the rest of my family to go back to sleep. I couldn't be happier with this machine! Thanks GoRowinGo!

I am very happy with my purchase of this rowing machine. It came fast and was fairly easy to put together. We had to watch the video for Step 5 because you had to raise the bar in order for it to fit. This is my first time using a rowing machine and it is perfect for me! Right now I am using levels 1-3 so I have a lot of room to improve to level 8Read more about review stating Happy with my Purchase. Just put together my rower. Easy to assemble. Only gripe was one bolt seemed stripped. It wouldn't go in 100% but it still does what it should. The rower is very quiet, smooth and level 8 is enough for a 15min bout or more. It's small and light enough and was delivered quickly. Hope it performs like this in a year. Happy about the money I saved vsRead more about review stating So far so good competition.

I recently became disabled and thought your rower may help me get some mobility back. I have only used it a couple of weeks and already notice an improvement. I'm a very satisfied customers and have told all my friends.
Ojistoh H.
This rower is of exceptional quality, pulls almost silently, and the tensions are more than enough for a good exercise. I am just under 6" and the length of this machine could be used for someone much taller than I am. Very comfortable seat too

I am 54 yrs. old and was looking for something with a full body workout. This GoRowinGO Rower is perfect! I love the workout videos from your website and feel it will help to build my strength. It is really easy to fold up and move to the corner of my bedroom when not using it. Would absolutely recommend this rower!

The GoRowinGo GO-RW50 has been a great experience. Good price, fast shipment, easy setup and a very nice looking machine. Also seems to be working great right out of the box. Thanks, Bruce

Easy to put together. Quiet--so my early morning workouts do not disturb my family. Versatile (can modify the rower to work abs, biceps, etc). It folds up easily so no one trips over it. The price cannot be beat.

The pulling motion feels stable and is smooth. I get a good workout from level 3 or 4 and working my way towards max resistance. Considering the price this rower is pretty good if you're looking for a cardio machine.

Assembly was simple includes tools too. Whole process took about 30 mins. I was pleased to find that the rower is indeed quiet since I live on the third floor. The monitor is basic and I don't need it. Overall, the machine itself is solid and I have no problems whatsoever.

What an absolutely great rower. I wanted to wait and use the rower a couple months before writing the review, to make sure it held up, etc. Well, it exceeded all of my expectations. I was a little apprehensive at first because of it's relatively low price compared to other rowers but this rower couldn't be better--and I've used many different roweRead more about review stating SF-RW5515--Great Rower!rs at different fitness centers--and this is as good or better than the others. I've used it 4 or 5 times a week for the past 2 weeks. It's extremely sturdy, operates very smoothly and totally quiet--I always watch TV while rowing--it's totally quiet. And GoRowinGO actually has customer service, with people that speak English. When I was putting it together, I called to ask some questions--and actually got a helpful person on the other end

Great rowing machine! Wife and I both use twice a week. The tension is enough for the both of us. I can feel my heart rate going up with every pull. This was a good purchase for us.
Shaina S.
This rowing machine is so quiet! Perfect for my condo. I was worried since we share walls but my worries have been dismissed after using this rower for a week. The footprint is minimal which is another plus! If you're looking for a serious workout but limited on space you should definitely check this rower out!

I ordered my machine and it arrived two days later! Well packaged. Super easy to put together. I am loving this workout machine! Well worth the money! Keeps me from going to the gym and it works all the major muscles in the body. I used to run and this is less impact on my body.

When I purchased my rowing machine, they said there might be a delay. However, I received it about 4 days after I ordered it. It took me about an hour and a half to assemble it. I have used it 11 or 12 times. I have performed 13,000 pulls. I'm usually between 30 and 40 minutes. I have the tension set to 4, which allows me to do 30 reps per minute. I haven't tried any harder settings. I wish there was a way to add resistance to your legs. It seems that a lot of home rowing machines can't do that. I like it. It's quiet and fits nicely in the corner of the basement family room. So far, so good.
Sigrid Dare M.
It took my husband and myself about 20 minutes to put this together. Hardware was numbered according to order of assembly. It is very good quality, and it is very comfortable while exercising. Nice rower.

I love my new rower! I discovered the benefits of rowing while doing cardiac rehab after having 2 stents put in! I knew I'd need one at home when the mandatory sessions ended. I use it every other day and I love how smooth it is with plenty of resistance for a guy my age!
Jon G.
Love my machine. Exactly what I wanted and as advertised. If there is one downfall, it would be that the monitor does not turn off. Batteries only lasted two weeks. Only remedy I found was to remove batteries between uses.
Justin G.
Great! The fit and finished surpassed my expectations; assembly was easy. I can't imagine how other water rowers costing much more could be any better!
James S.
So far, so good. I've used 6/7 days for the 3 weeks I've owned it and no complaints. Solid build, smooth, provides a good workout
Ava G.
Wonderful machine. I was able to put it together by myself in about 30 minutes. I am new to rowing machines, but I really enjoy the workout. I have found some beginner videos on Youtube.
The build looks fine and everything seems to be sturdy. I have been using about 4 times a week for the last two weeks and have no issues at all

I was looking for a water rower machine that was affordable. I did a lot of comparing prices from other websites and I found this water row machine that fits in our budget. I also love the 10% off coupon upon check out. This was actually easy to assemble and we got it in a week! Very straight forward to assemble, did most of it solo but had help just for safety towards the end. Holds plenty of water, used one full bucket and it filled up to resistance 4 which at first felt like it would be a piece of cake, but after my first real 30 min workout that got me to 2k meters, I was spent lol put some chill music on for a 10 minRead more about review stating Blew me away! warmup and it complimented the water swoosh sound perfectly, very relaxing as well as taxing lol can't beat it for the price! Beautiful rower - combination of quality, craftsmanship and aesthetics.
It is very sturdy, we used it every morning for past month and we do not feel any wear and tear. It's a beautiful piece of equipment that is not only great for exercise but it makes for a nice classic looking decoration.
Travis S.
The water rower is an excellent one piece exercise
Equipment. More of a workout than we expected.
I am a woman of a certain age & find it easy and agreeable to use.

Rower arrived in great condition! It was a little tricky to se up initially, but finished in about an hour and a half by myself. Filling the tank with water was the hardest part, you’ll need a large bucket and thankfully this came with a siphon. The machine runs smooth and is incredibly well made. Very happy with this purchase!
Joseph G.
Love this rower, really feels like you are moving through water. Great design, beautiful workmanship. Just love and now I can get some exercise this winter without going outside. Really works on all parts of your body but remember to stretch those quads!
Brooke N.
It’s expensive and took me a while to pull the trigger, but no regrets. I needed a machine for cardio at home but didn’t want to clutter up my office with something bulky and ugly. The water rower is perfect and this vintage oak finish is great. Love the feel and the sound, and the quality seems great. As smooth as the concept 2 towers at the gym but the feel and sound of the water is way better. Definitely recommend.

I am very happy with the GoRowinGo. It was easy to install. Looks great and easy to store upright to save space. High quality product
It took a few days to get use to the correct towing technique. I am a first time rower. My first few sessions lasted less that 5 minutes easy. I then watch videos showing proper rowing style. After 2 weeks I am rowing 20 minutes a day. I have already moved strength in my core. I am a satisfied customer.
Justin M.
Well made, easy to assemble, parts fit together perfectly, quiet, and smooth. Foot rest easily adjustable...perfect for our needs. Has a monitor...haven't use it yet as we watch tv while rowing so we go by time...not concerned about howany reps or rowing strokes etc. Just want good overall body toning machine...this is perfect...do have to apply to a costly exercise video program we don't want.
Isaac G.
I put it together by myself in less than 2:15 hours. It was pretty easy. Directions easy to follow. all parts present and working. Nothing broken or missing. Feels very solid when in use. Love the feel and sound.

This is an awesome rowing machine. Customer service is friendly and helpful. The ease of assembly is aided by the step by step video. Company came by and commented on the nice appearance and were amazed at how easy the machine can be moved and stored. I’m over 60 and normally do not assemble or move items, however was able to handle the assembly on my own. It is also amazingly sturdy. Thumbs up to GOROW...
And who would have anticipated I would be working from home and can now spend my lunch rowing instead of snacking.
Kyle F.
I was drawn to the GoRowinGo because it's quiet, offers more realistic rowing and looks much nicer than your average machine.
Assembly was very simple, just needs careful alignment to get the footplate in. In total only took half an hour.
The sound is very quiet and quite therapeutic. A normal rowing machine would probably bother the neighbours but this one is fine.
Although more expensive the Pine wood is really, really nice. It can stand in my living room against the wall and is actually a feature rather than an eye-sore, which is great if you don't have the space to put it elsewhere.
I was a bit concerned about my height (they do an extended version), but this wasn't an issue. I'm 6ft 4 with long legs and there is a couple of inches spare on the track.

Perfect machine for fitness. I use it to complement an eliptical machine. Rower does cardio but I like it for the Eimpact on muscle groups that an eliptical does not affect. The GoRowinGo is an outstanding machine. It is well made, looks great, works great, and I love the fact that it stores vertically. It takes minimal space and looks great in a storage position. I am extremely happy with this purchase!

I absolutely love my new rower. I use the gym rower at 10 of 10 and I work easily. I set this one at 2 of 10 to start since it's new to me, and in 3 minutes my triceps and back are burning. It works differently and I love it.
Patrick R.
Extremely well made, easy and fast to put together and with ability to change the resistance allows the whole family use it.
Cory S. K.
We love our new water rower! Good quality. Super smooth.
John N.
This seems very well-made and I like the design plus it was easy to put together. I wonder if the pine would hold up compared to hardwoods but it’s fine as I take really good care of everything I own and it’s very handsome. It’s stores upright and doesn’t take up hardly any room. I’m really gonna use this a lot. And it was a great value being on sale. And free shipping from the factory.
PAUL
Got it assembled and running with no trouble. The tablet kept dropping wifi after completing an exercise, but after a few emails to tech support they sent a new tablet, and it's been fine since. Kudos for good tech support, and I love the exercises. Despite my initial hesitation over the price tag, a month in I'm very happy with the purchase, and have been excited to show it to family and friends
Shoshana L.
The arm that was purchased is amazing but the description of the size device it holds is very vague and a little misleading. In reading through the description of product it goes right into what size of large tablet fits on the tablet holder. I don’t feel this was clear on the website because I expected what. And with the tablet arm to hold my phone and was a bit perplexed to find that the holder was sized for a phone. I wasn’t expecting to have to make additional purchase, but I do love the tablet arm and my Water Rower

Truly the best rower money can buy
A.H.
Great full body workout! It’s also so fun. Makes working out more enjoyable! Each workout is better than the last and it’s such a beautiful machine! Win win!!

Assembly was easy, good quality and one of the best, if not best rower I have personally used.
Chris
I've been using the rower for about a week now so these are my first impressions. It was very easy to assemble. The instructions were mostly pictures and slightly vague, similar to IKEA directions. Still, it is pretty straight-forward and quite a bit is pre-assembled. It seems sturdy and like it will last for quite a while. It is smooth to row and I love the sound of the water swishing as I row. If I close my eyes, I can imagine I'm rowing on a stream or river. My only complaint is about the electronic display. It doesn't always seem accurate. Sometimes when I row, it registers 0 for rowing speed but occasionally it shoots up to 58 or higher (when I'm rowing at a moderate pace). Usually, it seems accurate, but I don't really trust it. This is my only real complaint about this rower. I have used rowing machines at the gym before, but I've never owned one. I immediately found that I needed gloves. My hands started to hurt and would likely have developed blisters had I not used my husband's weight lifting gloves. After a 45-minute session of rowing, I was surprised at the amount of chafing I suffered on my backside! I ended up buying a more padded seat to go on top of the seat of this rower. I'm waiting for the chafing to heal before trying that out! I hope to be able to get past this so that I can enjoy rowing for many years to come.

Was looking for a machine that was economical since I figured I'd only be able to use it 2 times a week having an infant in the house. My machine was delivered in excellent packaging. Unfortunately the bolt holes on mine were a little off, but I fixed it easily by shimming the foot rest with 1/4" mdf. I have used the machine about 5 times and absolutely love it. Eventually I'll move up past 10 min workouts, but for now the resistance is perfect. I have used the concept 2 in the past, but I prefer the GRIG since I can stand it up in about 10sec vs breaking down a metal machine. My wife likes the aesthetics vs the brutal metal frame machines, and has even began rowing with me. As far as the budget water rowers go, I believe the GRIG is the best, since the water tank is easily the most well made. I only removed a star for the bolts being off and the computer could be a bit better. Ideally an option to upgrade the monitor to a PM5/S4 type would make it perfect (to compare to C2), or a bluetooth heartrate monitor would be choice. Overall though, I am very happy with the GRIG for the money.
Justin D.
This is the best product I’ve ever purchased. I have a busy schedule but I can always make time to row. I feel better after I finish rowing.

I'm 66 years old and have gotten seriously fat. I hate bikes and treadmills. I finally bought an gorowingo, and I've become a very old gray haired fitness junkie!! I've spent my life playing in an on the water.
